Submission terms

1. The project

You are submitting a short video, up to 60 seconds, of yourself dancing — on a street corner, at home, in your office, on public transit, or anywhere else you choose — for use in an official music video for the song “Dance While The Windows Open”, written and produced by Hamid Najafi, also known professionally as Zubin Cesar (“the Producer”). Clips from many contributors around the world will be edited together into a single video.

2. Agreement

Uploading your video means you accept these terms and the Model Release & Consent Form, even without a physical signature, unless a signed copy is specifically requested. We record the exact version and wording you agreed to along with your submission.

3. Rights you grant

By submitting a video you grant the Producer a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable licence — subject to Section 7 below — to:

• Use, reproduce, edit, crop, colour-correct, slow down, speed up or otherwise modify your footage;
• Combine your footage with other contributors’ footage, the song, graphics and other creative elements;
• Include your name, city or location, and likeness as they appear in the footage; and
• Distribute and publicly display the resulting music video on YouTube, streaming platforms, social media such as Instagram and TikTok, the Producer’s and Zubin Cesar websites, press and promotional material, and any future re-releases or edits of the video.

You keep ownership of your own footage. This is a licence to use it, not a transfer of ownership.

4. No obligation to use

The Producer is not obliged to include your clip. Submission does not guarantee inclusion, and the Producer may select, omit or re-edit any footage at their sole discretion.

5. No payment

This is a fan and community collaboration. No payment, royalty or other compensation is owed to you for your appearance or your footage, unless separately agreed in writing.

6. What you confirm

• You are the person appearing in the video, or, if other people appear with you, you have their permission and they also agree to these terms;
• You have the right to grant this licence — for example the location and any music playing in the background do not infringe anyone else’s rights; and
• The footage contains nothing unlawful, obscene, hateful or infringing on a third party’s rights.

We may refuse or remove any submission that breaks these conditions, and you remain responsible for footage you send that you had no right to send.

7. Dancers under 18

If the person appearing in the video is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the guardian section of the submission form on their behalf, giving their name, email address and relationship to the dancer, and confirming consent for the minor’s participation and likeness to be used as described here. A submission for a minor without that guardian consent is not valid and will be deleted.

8. Withdrawing consent

You may ask for your clip to be removed from future edits or re-releases by writing to hamid.najafi1330@gmail.com. Removal cannot be guaranteed once the video has already been published or distributed, but reasonable efforts will be made to honour removal requests going forward.

9. Release of claims

You release the Producer and Zubin Cesar from any claim relating to the use of your footage as described here, including claims of defamation, invasion of privacy or infringement of moral rights, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Privacy

How your video, your details and your consent record are stored, used and deleted is explained in the Privacy Notice.

11. Changes and questions

These terms may be updated; the date at the top shows when. Changes apply to submissions made afterwards, and consent already recorded stays tied to the version accepted at the time. If anything here is unclear, write to hamid.najafi1330@gmail.com before submitting your video.
